Good news for shopping fans: all shopping centres are just a stone’s throw from each other and can easily be reached on foot from the Twin City Liner landing stage.

Aupark Shopping Center

The Aupark Shopping Center is on situated on the right bank of the Danube, in Bratislava’s Petržalka borough. Here, you can find more than 200 shops, with all the big brands such as Peek & Cloppenburg, H&M, C&A, United Colors of Benetton and much more. What’s more, the centre is also home to a large cinema, a bowling club, a large outdoor play area and a kid’s club where your kids can have fun, leaving you free to shop undisturbed.

Avion Shopping Center

One of Bratislava’s first shopping centres, and one which is constantly being modernised. All the most popular brands can be found here, too, including Marks & Spencer, New Yorker, etc. One of its biggest benefits, however, is its neighbour. The popular furniture store IKEA is located right next door. The shopping centre also features a children’s play area.

Eurovea Galleria Shopping Centre

Eurovea is the grand-sounding name which has been given to a city development project currently being carried out right on the banks of the Danube in Bratislava. The project comprises a 5-star hotel, the Slovak National Theatre, more than 200 flats and the Eurovea Galleria shopping centre. It is Bratislava’s newest and most attractive shopping centre. It is surrounded by a fantastic promenade which features numerous terraces, trendy restaurants and cafés. You are sure to find the hottest brands here. As this shopping centre was designed by a London architect, visitors occasionally get the feeling that they’re in the trendy city of London. The cinema complex also shows blockbusters in English.  Exciting events take place all year round at the big square with its impressive fountain.

Luxury International Trader

From time to time, you have to allow yourself a little luxury. The Luxury International Trader is a small but very exclusive “mall” which boasts a wide range of famous designer brands, e.g. Valentino, Tom Ford and Bottega Veneta. It is located between the Main Square and the opera.

Polus City Center

Though it may be among Bratislava’s older shopping centres, the Polus City Center is not to be underestimated. Its location in the heart of Bratislava makes it ideal. With H&M and Spanish fashion chain Mango having moved in recently, fashion fans are sure to get their money’s worth here. “Carrefour”, the large food store on the ground floor, is particularly popular. Conclusion: a small but excellent shopping centre which can be easily combined with a stroll through the old town.

Shopping Palace

When compared with all the shopping centres which Bratislava has to offer, the Shopping Palace is certainly a unique specimen because it is located somewhat outside the city. Don’t let this put you off – this shopping centre is heaven on earth for shoe fanatics. Our insider’s tip is the large branch of British retail food group Tesco. www.shoppingpalac
